The microphone also works with third-party transmitters that support 5 VDC plug-in power through a TA4M connector.

Included with the WL183m are a snap-fit windscreen to minimize wind noise and plosives, an adjustable lapel clip that rotates 90° for optimal placement, and a zippered storage pouch to keep the microphone safe when not in use.
